ZZ Top - La Grange

\"La Grange\" is the hit song from ZZ Top\'s 1973 album \"Tres Hombres\". Even though it at a glance, the song sounds like it\'s merely about a shack in a town in Texas, looking closely at the lyrics suggest otherwise. You will realize that they are talking about a whorehouse out in a little town in Texas. Fortunately for ZZ Top, radio stations did not pick up on the underlying themes of the song. Some of the lyrics in this song would be extremely hard to get played on the radio back in the early 70s. But in true rock and roll form, this is one of those songs that you have to listen to closely in order to understand what they are really talking about. Not to mention, the guitar riff in this song is priceless - just one of the best of all-time. There is a reason why Jimi Hendrix once said that Billy Gibbons was his favorite guitarist ever. This song proves that.
